Thirst . . . . . . .only for those who can stand bloodshed

Excellent, innovative story and even better direction make this movie worth watching. However not intended to be watched with Family.

SYNOPSIS :
Movie story is based on vampire (Bloodthirsty creatures). However can be commented that this is just NOT ANOTHER VAMPIRE MOVIE
Thirst is the story of a Priest who is stuck in the soul-crushing situation of either watching people die every day or get terribly sick. So priest decides to martyr himself by becoming a volunteer test subject for a new vaccine to cure a deadly illness; the vaccine fails and unfortunately for the Priest. After coughing up too much of bodily fluids, the Priest gets an emergency transfusion of blood, dies and then mysteriously recovers. Returning home to find himself hounded by religious fundamentalists who believe he’s the recipient of a miracle, the Priest soon discovers his inhibitions lowering, as he finds a sudden inexplicable taste for human blood (and much more :p).
From this point onward movie takes an unusual path, this vampire story then becomes a weird love story. Storyline here onward is better when watched instead of told.
Direction of movie reveals naked emotions of true love. Thirst shows that their is no barrier for love. Thirst shows thirst about your love. Thirst is about loving a wrong person. Its about knowing the difference between wrong and right & then also choosing the wrong to accompany your love. Thirst is about accepting a person with all shortcomings. Thirst challenges the concept that morality can only be maintained if we follow religion. At start of movie it is shown that our protagonist priest is surrounded by religious atmosphere however he is self centered and does not value his own life. Hence does not values others as well. He then opt to martyr himself for test of new vaccine to a deadly disease knowing that there is no chance of surviving the ill effects of vaccine and hence a good way to end the life.
In the later half of movie our priest has turned into a monster but now he starts to understand the meaning of human life. The movie speaks about the fact that its not necessary to follow hollow guidelines. Thirst is all about the fact that yang cannot exist without yin, good doesn't hold any value without bad.
What I liked the most is smooth turn of movie and its excellent and most suitable end. After watching the movie I can assure anyone that love is blind.
REMARKS :Excellent Movie for those who can think and accept unconventional.
